With the specific and intelligent design of magnetic beads for each ligand, a suitable groundwork is provided for the separation and purification of cells, proteins, nucleic acids, and biomolecules. This technology was a revolution in biology. In the viral method of extracting the RNA of a virus using magnetic beads, the beads are designed to attach to the nucleic acid molecules and then be collected by a suitable separator. In the end, the target RNA is released in the appropriate solution. Therefore, RNA extraction with this technology is suitable for diagnosing infectious diseases with a high rate and purity.
